We took the long way home
The John Day Fossil beds. This was nifty to see as you can see it was super windy. and still quite chilly we didn't stay to long.
It truly was verr beautiful and we saw lots of Oregon tht we had not seen before.
so there is one problem of driving back roads with small towns on a Sunday after 5;00 P.M. . No gas stations OPEN woops we got really really low finally we werre able to find a CFN station that Grandpa Craig had a card for and then the machine was being really slow anad we were thinking we might have to leave the care and come back and get it but then it worked so we were able to get gas.
Finally dinner at a cool diner with huge helpings a little after 9:00 P.M. with another hour drive to go. we had such a great fun weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Wharton. thanks for taking us along.
