Archeology in the park

Sat. we went to a great activity in the park. It was all about archeology so you know Justin was in heaven. they had lots of hands on activities. here they were looking for things in the sand. They learned how they measure stuff (only the metric system) they were showed how they would label and log items at a dig.

We brought a picnic

This old guy talked about the Rancher o we were on and he knows his history about the land and about the country. we stayed in there quite awhile Justin and cody enjoyed talking with him and he wasn't busy so he told the boys all kinds of stories and what lots of stuff in the barn was used for he even had this awesome scale and asked what we thought it was I was kinda stumped thinking it was thing to hold a pot over the fire but then I reliezed it was made of wood that wouldn't work very well. Justin knew what it was and the guy was very impressed with Justin's knowledge. We were told many time that the kids were very nice and well behaved and SMART. Justin made sure everyone knew that this could be the job he was going to do when he grew up.

At the end they got to measure a cookie and eat it. we had a blast.
Renee had to work she is getting rich she worked Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
O.K. she is not getting rich she bought the new IPOD last week.

This looks likes it was right up Justin's alley. I suspect you were there a long time talking with that guy. Justin's hair looks like it is getting longer
