Final day in the Yosimite Park

today our hike was a meadow. we did a short 2 miles it was relatively easy on the way out you find out you actually did go down a ways.

The boys took their sketch books and were able to stop and document some of the cool stuff they saw.

I have wanted to see a Marmot all week we saw deer, a bear and lots of squirrels and chipmunks but not a marmot but today just after we stopped to see a cabin Buck spotted this one in a big tree root that was knocked over you could tell he had made it his home. he was really cool and I think a little curious.
I kept wanting to stop here at this little creek but we just kept passing finally Buck stopped today it was so pretty. I climbed up and down rocks to get a pretty picture.

the boys finished their Juinor Ranger program so we went tot he ranger station and they were sworn in as Yosimite Junior Rangers. They had lots of fun doing this program they got to pick and name their favorite place and draw it in their book.
We had a wonderful family vacation at Yosemite National Park we know we will be coming back here some day.
